Who we are looking for:

Geotab is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to provide support to the organization through the customization and configuration of the Salesforce platform. The position will manage the Salesforce.com database and reporting, and provide training and support to users. They will be responsible to develop customized solutions within the salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client/reseller requirements, and company goals. What are the details of this position:
As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, this role will develop the Geotab’s Salesforce.com platform to enable effective and efficient execution of sales best practices through the delivery of User Support, Case Management, Data Management, Configuration, and Development. You will be able to translate functional requirements into technical requirements and communicate with Internal Support Systems, IT, Security, project managers, other Salesforce administrators/developers, and other stakeholders to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.

This position will be working with a team of remote employees and can be based anywhere in North America.

Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:
Configure and administer Salesforce enterprise edition
Provide first-level support, including issue identification and resolution/escalation
Create and maintain business processes in Salesforce.com using components such as: process builders, flows, workflow rules and approval processes
Manage the maintenance of the Salesforce platform, and associated CRM system(s) to ensure data quality and security
Maintain and customize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Knowledge and Communities applications
Implement enhanced functionality as new needs and use cases arise
Manage operational requests and troubleshoot issues
Work with the Learning Centre to develop training materials and provide training and support to SalesForce.com end users
Maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management
Develop and test new functionality and customization or enhancements
Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users
Oversee all technical aspects of Salesforce including data migrations, data quality, systems integrity, third-party applications, and AppExchange products

Experience/Skills Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management or equivalent in field experience
Salesforce certification is required (ADM 201 certification). Sales cloud consultant certification and/or Salesforce app builder certification is nice to have
Basic understanding of project management principles is required
Ability to interpret business requirements and to estimate workload
4+ years of related experience with Salesforce in an admin capacity
Advanced skills in Google related products a plus
Experience in implementation and documentation preferred
Experience with Field Service Lightning a plus
