Housekeeping Attendant - Part Time

Start Date: Immediate
Salary: $15.00/- $15.63/hour

Availbale shifts is Sat & Sun, from 2:30pm to 9.30pm (6 hrs),

What qualifications are we looking for?

The successful candidates will have the following;
  • Custodial work experience
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Three professional references
What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?

Housekeeping Staff will:
  • Perform cleaning duties
  • Operate heavy equipment when required including scrubbers, wet vacs, vacuums, and power washers
  • Ensure all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and well organized
  • Ensure that work records are completed
  • Report any facility or equipment repairs needed to the supervisor
  • Work as part of a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the safety and security of YMCA members and participants
  • In the event of an emergency or building evacuation ensure cleaning work in progress is completed in a safe manner
