We are looking for a dependable, customer-focus Carpenter who will execute specialized maintenance service, fabrication, repairs, renovations, and other skilled-trade support work required for vessels, tug boats, dry docks, barges, equipment, facilities, or projects.
You might be a good fit if you have:
3 years of finish and rough carpentry experience.
the ability to balance many competing and changing priorities.
An eye for detail and the ability to perform consistently under a wide-variety of challenging circumstances.
A strong willingness to learn, ask questions, take direction, receive feedback, and solve problems.
The confidence and comfort level to work outdoors, in confined spaces, in cold/wet environments, at heights, and through inclement weather;
A preparedness and the motivation to regularly work 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday (plus potential overtime);
The ability to safely lift 50lbs and maneuver in and out of ballast tanks without assistance.
