CIMA+ is currently looking for a Technician, 3D scan and modelling to fill a position in the province of Quebec. The incumbent will interact with clients, propose effective solutions, carry out assignments and ensure support and follow-up with clients. They will also keep abreast of existing and new technologies and processes in this constantly evolving emerging market.
Prepare proposals and purchase orders;
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of equipment;
Open projects in the intranet quality system and ensure follow-up thereof;
Plan field visits;
Operate the 3D scanner, 3D camera or drone;
Carry out data processing;
Provide support to users and clients for the utilization of deliverables;
Keep abreast of new technologies and associated software.
College Diploma (DCS) in a relevant field (engineering, surveying, or equivalent) an asset;
Good ability for interpreting 3D models and using technology and related software;
Relevant experience (an asset);
Availability for field work;
Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle;
Ability to manage all aspects of on-site data collection;
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Recap, Microstation, Descartes, TBC (an asset);
Advanced drone pilot licence and first aider training or class 4 medical certificate (an asset);
Good interpersonal skills;
Ability to work outdoors year round;
Team spirit and ability to work effectively without supervision;
Field work experience in a multidisciplinary team;
ASP Construction card (an asset).
