The John Howard Society of Grande Prairie is a non profit organization concerned with the causes and consequences of crime. We have a long standing commitment to addressing intimate partner violence in our community and have been offering treatment programming for over 25+ years.

We are currently recruiting for a skilled therapist to provide clinical assessment, individual counselling, partner education and support, case management, group therapy and follow up supports. Working with both women and men who have used intimate partner violence, this position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Our ideal candidate(s) will possess a Masters degree, preferably in Social Work or Counselling, or be a Registered Psychologist and have an understanding of and experience in practicing narrative therapy. A combination of related education and/or experience may be considered. Ability to provide clinical supervision would be a definite asset.

We are currently recruiting for a full time position. Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
