About the Position:
As our new Program Manager for Global Initiatives, your focus will be upon expanding and deepening the impact of TF’s Comprehensive Cleft Care (CCC) capacity-building within our existing international partner network and beyond.

Your role will encompass four primary functions: Program Strategy, Project Management, Communication and Relationship Management, Leadership and Innovation.

Practically speaking, your tasks will include:
Co-designing and co-facilitating capacity-building tools and workshops
Leading within our Circle of Cleft Professionals (CoCP) initiative
Shaping our approach to the Cleft 2021 (Edinburgh) conference
Managing TF’s CCC project partnerships as a leader within our Program Team
Pursuing opportunities to implement TF’s CCC tools with other cleft-focused and international development organizations in resource constrained settings

Working with Transforming Faces

We’re a small (and mighty!) staff team based in Toronto with an engaged Board and long-term international partners. We’re all passionate about what we do. We are motivated by our mission and inspired by our model of international partnership and vision that no child will experience exclusion because of their cleft.

This is a full-time permanent position with a target start date of March, 2020. In addition to a competitive annual salary ($65,000) we offer 4 weeks’ paid vacation, 5% pension matching, and pay in lieu of benefits. Our bright and open office is conveniently located along bustling College Street in Toronto, and highly accessible by transit.


University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
More than 5 years international development experience
Excellent workshop facilitation skills and experience
Demonstrated experience managing projects; health sector management experience an asset
Ability to travel internationally (up to 4-6 weeks)
Superior written, oral and administrative skills
Fluency in a second language is an asset, Spanish is a particular asset
