The Life Redesign Model includes:
As a Life Redesign Coach, you will work in partnership with the residents who live at CONNECT. You will work in a house with up to seven residents, who are redesigning their lives after brain injury or stroke. Using coaching methods, you will help residents set and achieve goals based on what is most meaningful to them. A typical day can include helping residents with: Getting ready for the day, completing exercise programs, personal care, getting out into the community, participating in recreation and leisure interests, meal preparation, and, most importantly, helping them reach their individual life redesign goals.
Becoming a Life Redesign Coach does not require you to have a care aide background. CONNECT will provide you with an orientation and training on the job. We hire based on fit, not qualifications.
