Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Wage: Starting wage is $ 26.92 per hour ( $ 31.62/hour after 12 months of employment)

After 3 months Drivers can move to “incentive pay for performance” and can earn $30-$35/hr and get home early.

Opportunity for Overtime
Full Time permanent (recession proof industry)
4 x 10 Hours Shifts - 3 days off a week!

Skills Requirement:
Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles
Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 60 lb)
Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
Previous professional driving experience is preferred
Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships
Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx. 600 - 800 cases/shift)
Operate straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routes
Conduct routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Steel-toed boots are Mandatory.
Exposure to and handling of all types of food products including seafood, meats, dairy, produce, spices, beverages and equipment .
