FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Electrical Heavy Mining Machines

This opportunity will be based at our Canadian Branch in Sudbury, Ontario. You will be responsible to support the RCT solutions and systems in the North America region. This involves product installation, service, repairs and technical support throughout the region. The successful applicant must have equivalent qualifications to auto electrical with a strong interest and/or prior experience with electronics, radio communications, and digital networks. Knowledge of heavy earthmoving machine electrical and hydraulics is also an advantage.
Essential requirements to apply:
Extensive knowledge working in the Heavy Earth Moving Electrical field on 12/24 V systems on mobile equipment for 3 to 5 years with the ability to read and interpret equipment schematics.
Demonstrate knowledge of installing, calibrating, configuring, maintaining, and testing remote control and automated machine systems and other related solutions on mining equipment.
Experience in delivering high level of customer service, able to work with minimum supervision and able to work under pressure.
Excellent time management, honest, trustworthy and reliable, disciplined approach to job responsibilities and a systematic and professional approach to fault finding.
Must have ASE certification in Auto Electrical and desirable to have ASE certification in Hydraulics.
Medically fit and able to pass regular drug and alcohol testing and hold or be able to obtain Norcat Certification. Hold or be able to obtain a First Aid Certificate.
You must be a Canada resident with a valid driver's license with no restrictions and have or able to obtain a valid Passport.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, Intermediate computer skills (Windows OS).
