What is the opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities Branch located in Kamloops, BC is looking for a motivated individual to join a successful Wealth Management Team as an Assistant to help in maintaining, developing and growing an Investment Advisor's business by providing clients exceptional service in an efficient and professional manner.
What will you do?
Input and follow-up on daily tasks as directed by IA.
Meet and greet prospects and clients
Investigate and follow-up on all client inquiries
Utilize contact management system for all necessary follow up
Investigate and resolve inquiries and complaints related to accounts and refer to the Investment Advisor where appropriate
Maintain current knowledge of client accounts by reviewing daily activity online and on applicable reports
Maintain client files
Ensure clients’ accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation and forward to appropriate Branch contact
Utilize contact management system for daily task management
Documentation & New Accounts Openings
Print reports and distribute them accordingly
Faxing and photocopying
What do you need to succeed?
Excellent organizational skills, service oriented, ability to successfully multi-task, effective communications skills, strong technology integration skills, excellent time management, ability to receive direction from multiple individuals, ability to deal with varying personalities with internal and external clients.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer
Experience in the investment industry is an asset (but not required)
Experience in Administration is an asset.
University Degree is an asset (but not required).
Canadian Securities Course / Canadian Practices Handbook is an asset.
