Microsoft D365 Guides team is looking for a customer-focused program manager to join the program management team as we deliver our product to market. Producer manages two key areas:
Product feature delivery — this role encompasses taking on scrum master or product owner scrum duties and working within our agile, multi-disciplinary team structure to deliver high quality customer led features on a monthly cadence. Working with the scrum team this includes coaching the team through our agile ceremonies, making issues visible through reporting, and working together to define and action solutions. Working with the program manager team this includes being a part of road mapping, capacity planning, risk management and ship room.
Design Program Management — the program manager in this role also provides management support for the creative discipline (designers and artists). This includes support to identify and execute the creative processes needed to deliver features in our agile system, such as facilitating feature reviews, refining creative briefs, time boxing exploration spikes and providing continuous learning opportunities for creatives. Some design work alongside writing feature briefs and customer documentation is included.
As a program manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
Contribute to the established day-to-day operations of the scrum team’s rhythm of business. This may include scrum master roles such as capacity planning, velocity tracking, facilitating the estimation process, risk management and resolving inter scrum dependencies. It may also include product ownership activities such as creating scrum team roadmaps, and feature delivery from feature brief specification and design to release management.
Support the creative team’s experience on our team: facilitate creative discipline meetings on a regular basis to support continuous improvement, facilitate design reviews and associated action items, work with creatives to manage commitments, and ensure the team has the focus to do their work. It also includes ensuring the designers are working within our team processes to include all disciplines early in the feature cycle.

Experience managing projects and working with diverse teams
Self-starter with passion for delivering software, user experience, and design
Desire to learn about how multi-disciplinary agile software supports business objectives

Familiarity with agile or lean methodologies
Awareness of inclusive design and how it supports Microsoft's mission
Willingness to question established thinking in pursuit of better outcomes
