LongbridgeAcademy is a registered international private high school (BSID: 881778) that offers high school credits courses for Grades 9 to 12. We provide our students with the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Curriculum with high expectations, within an enriched, caring and secure environment.

We are seeking a school Administrator/Guidancefocusing on academic administration to join our professional team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and organizing all academic activities in the school
  • Liaising with Teachers in order to maintain curricular, disciplinary, and academic performance standards of students
  • Coordinating and overseeing all Teacher’s activities.
  • Assist Principal to prepare the documents and reports to the Ministry of Education
  • Establishing and upholding school policies
  • Liaising with the Ministry of Education, and the students’ parents to inform them of school policies
  • Assisting teachers in facilitating conflict resolution between students when necessary
  • Assisting Teachers and School Counsellors with disciplinary and student counselling tasks
  • Providing counselling and guidance to Teachers of students with learning difficulties or behaviouralissues
  • Conferring with students’ parents regarding school behavior and academic performance
  • Monitor input of daily attendance and complete updates as required;
  • Receive, sort and distribute mail, and prepare outgoing mail;
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies;
  • Provide basic first aid care to ill or injured students, administer authorized medication and initiate the writing of incident/accident student reports;
  • Create and maintain students'files and information updates;
  • Type a variety of memos, forms, and correspondence as requested by administrators;


  • At least 1 years’ academic administration or Guidance experience in a private or public high school in Canada
  • Bachelor Degreeis required
  • Experience of developing curriculum for Grade 9-12 that meets or exceeds Ministry of Education standards and guidelines
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Ministry of Education requirements for a private school board
  • Familiar and has experience with EQAO, OnSiS, OUAC, and OCAS
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
