This is accomplished across four geographic management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centres and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient services including academic, tertiary, quaternary care and community based programs and services including continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Manager of Mental Health & Addictions, the incumbent is responsible for the provision of secretarial support activities related to programs and services within Mental Health & Addictions including Outpatient Clinics, Opioid Recovery Program, Addictions Day Program, Intake and Urgent Care Departments. Secretarial support activities include, but are not limited to, typing, filing, ordering and maintaining supplies, photocopying, time entry, Meditech registrations, data entry, planning/organizing meetings, taking minutes and reception duties. The incumbent will also contribute to the effective administrative support to the Manager(s) of Mental Health & Addictions, including outpatient services and programs including, but not limited to, Opioid Recovery and Addictions Day program.

Qualifications
Successful completion of post-secondary education in a recognized Office Administration/Medical Secretarial Program
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing clerical services.
Excellent technical skills specifically with WordPerfect and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as proficiency in preparing presentations and reports using graphic and presentation software.
Consistently maintains confidentiality and demonstrates good judgement.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision.
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Salary Information
Secretary II

$19.8646 - $22.5734 hourly
