We have an opportunity for a Marketing Technology Specialist to join our Richmond, BC headquarters for a 12-month term. In this role, you will support the Digital Marketing team in the implementation of new marketing tools/applications and support existing marketing tools. This requires implementation and adoption of multiple marketing tools which will integrate with the existing marketing platforms like CRM, Marketing Automation tools and website optimization tools. You will help to ensure selection of best fit tools followed by deployment and adoption of the same across the team.

Key Accountabilities:
Support the implementation of Marketing tools/applications and ensure smooth deployment
Document requirements, changes, test cases/results
Monitor technical and functional issues and review issues with vendors regularly to ensure smooth deployments & go live
Act as super-user of all Marketing technologies; train users and trouble-shoot operational issues
Support digital marketing team to drive web content management and web development, including processes, standards, and best practices; work with external vendors and IT/IS
Optimize website performance through A/B tests; Execute A/B tests and work with developer to implement tests that require development support
Act as super-user of all Marketing technologies; train users and trouble-shoot operational issues
Ensure business continuity with planning/preparing and performing website disaster recovery plans
Other duties as specified to ensure smooth working of marketing tools and marketing tool vendors


A degree in marketing, technology or related field.
Demonstrated track record of deploying technology solutions at scale.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in test-driven, continuous integration web development environment including application functional, technical and integration testing
Minimum 5 years’ experience with CSS, DHTML, HTML5 and web content management systems
Experience with databases and data-driven website design (MS SQL Server)
Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, A/B testing and other Marketing technology including experience with APIs from these tools
Excellent knowledge of web development techniques across multiple web-enabled devices like PC, mobile and tablet, including techniques like responsive/adaptive web design
A keen interest in learning about, sharing and implementing the latest trends in web, user experience and Marketing technology
Knowledge of using project management tools, JIRA, MS Office Tools
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Experience with databases and data-driven website design (MS SQL Server)
Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Experience managing complex projects with many stakeholders
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
An ability to multitask, organize and perform under tight deadlines, work independently
