Reporting to the Site Manager, Health Link, the incumbent will be responsible for secretarial and administrative support to the Site Manager and a variety of front line managers and teams. Reporting to the Site Manager the Administrative Support assesses, organizes and provides support, showing initiative, keen attention to detail and works under minimal supervision. This position maintains efficient office systems to facilitate workflow, record keeping, billing, purchasing, reports and graph generation, word processing; formatting and editing correspondence, reports and special projects; tracking and ensuring timely follow-up of work in progress; data entry and establishing communication channels with other departments and external agencies.. The Administrative Support with input from manager, positions writes briefing notes, letters, memos, gathers restricted information and compiles, stores and retrieves this information as required. This position manages multiple calendars and arranges / books meetings and meeting rooms. This position is a key information resource for the department in terms of AHS and Health Link processes and procedures.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Additional Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, supplemented by a post- secondary Administrative Support certificate and at least 2 - 3 years working in an office setting, with experience providing team operational and administrative support to multiple managers. They will demonstrate a high level of administrative competence and have a working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes, along with general office policies. The successful candidate must have a minimum typing speed of 55 WPM. Strong computer skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, as well as extensive experience in the use of word processing programs, graphic packages, database management and other associated software functions in order to respond to action requests, and to prepare and edit correspondence, and respond to stakeholder inquiries. They will have experience with various office equipment (telehealth, computer, fax/ scan/photocopier). They will possess strong interpersonal, decision-making with strong written and oral communication skills, and have strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, while maintaining consistency and accuracy. They will have the ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of initiative but enjoy working collaboratively within a team. They will have the ability to respond promptly to change and opportunity, and demonstrate eagerness and a capacity to learn.
