Summary of responsibilities
Ensure best practices in configuration management, development cycle and security are being followed.
Continuously improve our DevOps and CICD tools and processes.
Develop technical initiatives to make software engineering teams more effective.
Maintain and support the tools and platforms provided to software engineering teams.
Work closely with software engineering teams to support them in the process of using the development lifecycle tool chain and platforms.
Participate in the development of tool and platform recommendations for the company.
Participate in R&D initiatives on our technical solutions in connection with our tools, platforms and processes.
Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent experience
10 years of IT experience
Excellent knowledge of DevOps tools: Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus/Nexus IQ, Maven
Excellent knowledge of scripting: Groovy, Python, Ansible, Bash, YAML, Perl
Excellent knowledge of software engineering tool administration: GitHub, Jira, Confluence
Very good knowledge of integration technologies: Kafka, Redis, ELK, Zookeeper, MongoDB
Very good knowledge of JBoss, Tomcat, Ununtu Linux, WAS, Cisco CloudCenter environments
Good knowledge of Java and Java JEE development environments
Good knowledge of Agile development environment (SCRUM and Kanban)
Experience of continuous build and deployment processes (CI/CD)
Knowledge of container and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of the following technologies an asset: Grafana, Prometheus, Twistlock, Veracode, SonarQube, SysDig, Dynatrace, SpringBoot
Autonomous and excellent management of priorities
Versatile and abreast of new technologies
Curious, self-learner and active in DevOps communities
Team player, collaborative and good learning ability
Initiative and ability to work under pressure
Must be bilingual (English and French)
