The Boys and Girls Club of Niagara is seeking candidates to fill the position of Permanent Part-Time Program Worker for Licensed Care, Zone Programs and Holiday Camps in Niagara Falls.
The Program Workers are responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of programs and services. Program Workers are responsible to the Supervisors/Manager in the assigned center.
This part time hourly position (30-35 hours per week). Mornings, evenings Monday to Friday and some weekends are required. Compensation is $15.00 – $16.00 for Program Workers in a related field. On top of the base wage, program workers working in Licensed Care receive up to a $2/hr Provincial Wage Enhancement.
In addition, for those employees taking on these positions, the BGCN will be providing access to Club benefits including life, extended health and dental.
The candidates require a post-secondary diploma/degree preferably in Early Childhood Education or Child and Youth, Recreation and Leisure or related field. Experience in working in child and youth programs is an asset.
Additional Qualifications: Able to secure a current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check, Immunization records. Willing to participate in Club provided training in Health and Safety, Standard First Aid/CPRC, High Five Certification, Food Handlers Certification.
