We won't lie.You will be on your own most of the time. You will be asked “why are you better than the competition?” one trillion times, and you will also be asked for discounts. All the time. We expect you to be proactive and a kind of a lone wolf. Go out there and get new customers.

You gotta sell, which is why this role is commissions-only, but we will also throw in some really nice recurring commissions. This position is paying 20% of all gross profit you bring in. We will make it a 6-month contract to start with, so we have low exposure if things don’t work out. If you’re a badass sales professional, you’ll easily outgrow the position and we will allow you to grow. There are also pretty nice accelerators tied to this role, which makes things even more appealing.

We don’t care how much you work. Got the numbers in? Take the rest of the month off if you want. Or get even better numbers and enjoy the accelerators. Your call. You will work from home, you will make your own agenda, no need to travel frequently, you’re basically your own boss. The company is based out of Oakville, ON, so we do appreciate if you’re somewhere in the GTA. Main business target currently is Halton region businesses, and that’s where you will be putting your efforts in.

You’ll also be dealing with clients’ issues, from an account management perspective. You’ll be the first dedicated sales employee, which means you will be asked to wear several different hats. And help with business operations. And pricing. And offering. And policies… etc etc etc, you know the drill. That’s pretty much all you’ll do, day in, day out, so if you’d rather eat your own face than be polite to people every damn day, stop reading.

Still here? Cool.We also need you to document every step. So explain stuff to clients, and write it down. Officially, this is “retaining system knowledge”. Reality it’s so when someone deletes the wrong thing and plunges parts of Canada into darkness, you can prove you didn’t tell ‘em to do it.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers. Lots of cold calling.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers

Qualifications:

  • You have previous experience selling technology solutions, customer service, or other related fields. Even better if you worked for a MSP before, so you know the challenges we face every day.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms. We use the Connectwise stack internally, so if you’re familiar with it, big plus for you.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
