Are you seeking a rewarding career in the Home Health Care industry? ParaMed is currently accepting resumes from PSW (Personal Support Worker) candidates for part-time, full-time, and casual positions in the Bancroft, Ontario area!

ParaMed PSWs provide individualized care that is sensitive to clients’ unique needs, providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADL’s) through a client specific assignment working under the direction of and in collaboration with a regulated health care professional.

Diploma or Certificate from a PSW course or equivalent education

Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to demonstrate compassion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with clients and their families

Experience working with acutely ill, chronically ill, or palliative clients is considered a strong asset

Willingness to travel to and from client residences within a designated area is required

Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance is required

The ability to work a minimum of 50 hours on a biweekly basis is required
