As a Lead SQA get the opportunity to help build, scale, and lead an amazing QA team that is working on a conglomerate of critical financial payment process micro-services. These systems interact together to form one of the largest high availability e-commerce solutions in our market. We work with multinational banks, acquirers and financial gurus to push the boundary of payment processing beyond the concepts of traditional fintech.

The Job:
Lead a team of distributed SQA's located in multiple regions across the world
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices
Guide and coach team members
Design, implement and execute test procedures
Work with engineers to identify key areas for quality, tooling and process improvement
Work with development teams to facilitate unit and integration tests
Investigate production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
Develop automation test scripts to automate manual test cases
Utilize test case management and issue tracking systems

Must haves:
Prior experience leading an SQA team
Successfully built a team, defined its mission, and executed on its goals
Prior experience testing the reliability of an API-based product
Can Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Testrail, etc.) and source code management (SCM) tools (Subversion, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
Knowledge of MySQL, Selenium and API testing
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

Nice to Have:
Experience in automation
Comfort with code-level debugging is an added bonus
