Role Purpose: Lead a team of Program Specialists to deliver a complete suite of commercial programs and offers (grower and channel) that support all customer campaigns within Canada while ensuring the following:
Capability alignment and strong interaction with business systems to ensure programs are easily redeemable and measurable.
Data Integrity that ensures appropriate and effective tools are in place as well as accuracy of data and efficiency and accuracy of customer payments.
All compliance obligations are met (SOX, financial, legal, etc.).
Programs are designed and executed in collaboration with customer marketing and other relevant stakeholders
Oversight of program reconciliation (deadlines and budget targets).
Analysis of program effectiveness to inform the creation of future programs.
Redemption process is clearly defined to the commercial management teams.
What will you do:
Collaborate with the Customer Marketing and Key Accounts teams to ensure excellence in marketing processes that will enable effective development and execution of all targeted marketing plans, grower offers and customer campaigns for Canada.
Collaborate with Commercial Technologies to ensure redemption and reconciliation is integrated into current Platforms.
Ensures effective tools are in place and managed for executing programs, offers and campaigns and collection of commercial data.
Manages external supplier relationships and services related to program redemption.
Work with customer marketing managers and Key Account Management Team to develop aligned processes and timelines for all customer campaigns.
Develop and manage the processes within the Programs team
Collaborate with customer marketing team on program materials for sales force.
Periodically delivering complete financial overview of all programs.
Manage a department budget and lead Programs team by setting objectives, measuring, recognizing and rewarding performance, coaching and recommending organizational changes to ensure highly effective and motivated employees.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
A Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Marketing, and/or Finance.
Knowledge of program management and execution and/or redemption.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding and utilization of marketing/selling methodology.
Understanding of compliance issues including SOX requirements.
You might also have:
Good working knowledge of agricultural, crop protection and seed industry including growers and distribution channels.
Experience in leading and developing a team of direct reports and working collaboratively with teams.
Experience in developing and managing an annual budget.
