The Systems Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, installation and configuration of IT services. You will be providing technical expertise on all aspects of the services, including but not limited to BAU support and operations, as well as upgrades and configuration enhancements, and desktop support as part of the technical support team. The individual will have exposure to working in an ITIL environment and will understand working within a service desk support function, particularly change and problem management.

Main responsibilities
Support of all local JHC client desktops, applications and IT services
Remote support to other internal clients
Daily checks and BAU monitoring and fault resolution
Ensuring that the correct service desk processes and procedures are followed
Patching and upgrading of IT services and systems
Basic connectivity and network troubleshooting
Knowledge sharing and mentoring
Documentation of technical procedures across all platforms in use at JHC
Recommend improvements to all aspects of the IT services
Ensure IT policies are adhered to at all times
