Outside Sales Representative- Industrial Equipment

Job Summary:

As a result of continuing growth, Valutech Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Professional for the south- western Ontario region.

You would manage and develop existing accounts. You will deliver new business opportunities, provide professional and personalized service, and maintain positive, lasting business relationships and partnerships.

At Valutech Inc. we strive to provide superior technical expertise and customer service to the Industrial customer base in Ontario. We specialize in offering products and solutions from world-renowned manufacturers of heat transfer equipment and industrial valve products.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven outside sales experience – selling engineered products to Engineering Consultants, Manufacturing Industries, Contractors and OEM clients.
  • A Technical Diploma is required. An Engineering degree is also an asset but not mandatory
  • Technical background in Industrial related products: Example: pumps, valves, instrumentation, heating and cooling equipment, piping systems, process vessels, etc. Experience in food processing processes and products is also an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business and follow leads proactively while retaining and growing current customer base
  • Manage and drive RFPs & Prepare Quotations
  • Build customer loyalty through continuous innovation, exceptional customer service and become a trusted advisor
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Weekly Sales calls in your territory to service existing customers and to follow up leads and opportunities.
  • Elevate industry knowledge by staying on top of industry trends, technology and research through product trainings, conferences and tradeshows
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities in CRM - Prepare reports on sales activities, prospects and opportunities – Report to the Technical Manager
  • Liaise with vendors

Position Information: We are offering an attractive remuneration package and above average earning. F/T salary plus commission, cellphone & car expenses.
