Position:
Right Was Auto Repair in Hamilton ON, is looking for an experienced and
licensed Automotive technician with their own tools and their own vehicle to
join our fantastic team! Complete diagnostics, repairs, and be the front face
for our innovative service. If you have proven experience providing excellent
customer service, and are a certified technician, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair approved services on customer vehicles in

accordance with established methods and procedures

  • Advise on all work performed after each service, vehicle conditions and

recommendations

  • Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle inspections as per Ministry

guidelines

  • Always work in a clean and safe manner
  • Be friendly and very service oriented

Qualifications:

  • A licensed Automotive Service Technician (310T with 3+ years of

experience)

  • Ability to travel from job to job
  • Owns required tools
  • Ability to keep up to date with changing technology
  • Committed to providing an amazing customer experience
  • Must have your own transportation
  • Must have a “G” class license not a probationary license

Responsibility for Decision Making

  • Non-routine decisions are made in collaboration with Shop Owner

Responsibility for Resources

  • Directly responsible for all tools and shop equipment
  • Responsible for vehicles meeting Ministry of Transportation standards

Mental Effort

  • Frequent to continuous mental concentration required in performing

duties
Working Conditions

  • Medium supervision in and around the company service department

and minimal supervision on the roadways

  • Work safely with dust, grease, oil, flammable, and toxic materials

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 to $28.00 /hour

Experience:

  • automotive technician: 5 years (Preferred)

Licence:

  • 310S (Preferred)
  • Journeyman (Preferred)
  • Drivers License (Preferred)
