Under the general supervision of the Program Team Manager, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the CLINICAL PRACTICE NURSE - REGISTERED NURSE (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.
Post graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience required.
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
Current CRNM registration required.
Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.
NOTE: Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-registration is required for positions floating into any of the following areas: Intensive Care Med/Surg, Intensive Care Cardiac Sciences, Emergency, Y2 Special Procedures, Operating Room, Post Anaesthesia and LDR.

NOTE: This position is Non-Conforming and does not have a Master Rotation. Six (6) weeks of scheduled hours will be provided to the successful incumbent.
