Preventive action plans for automated machinery
Corrective action plans for automated machinery
Investigation and trouble shooting of any issues related to automated machinery
Continual improvement for new and existing automated machinery
Provide SOP’s and Instruction Manuals related to automated machinery for Associates
Write Siemens PLC codes
Train all Associates on PLC, HMI
LOTO (Lock out tag out)
All PPE must be worn in compliance with the OHSA/RC requirements
Enforce/Respect the safety rules and the internal policy
Stop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/environment protection/fire protection rules are broken
Guarantee and apply ISO 14001(Environment), and all related working procedures
Ownership of environmental responsibilities listed in ENV-REF-002 – Associates SEA Matrix
QUALITY & FOODSAFETY
Guarantee and apply ISO 9001, FSS/ISO22000, Mars Standards, and all related working procedures
Support the HACCP program in the department
Attend any training program as scheduled by company management and train any designated person in the position
Participate in plant visits when needed
MANAGEMENT & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and improve new and existing PLC, HMI systems.
Improvement of existing machinery / organization / working place
Technology transfers from overseas
Set up operating instructions
Supervise external companies
Manage designated projects
Perform area-related equipment first level maintenance
Provide help to Management Team for Performance, Quality and Safety
Department (operations, maintenance)
Any task as delegated by Manager
CLEANLINESS & TIDINESS
Perform Housekeeping Checks to ensure compliance to 5S
Support pest control activities within department
COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION
Provide any requested documentation to other Departments according to internal rules
High school diploma PLUS additional education (IE: associates degree, bachelor’s degree, completed certifications, diplomas, etc)
3+ years’ experience with automated systems within a manufacturing environment
Previous experience writing PLC code
Previous experience within project management and continuous improvement
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and ability to walk up multiple flights of stairs
Experience in Omron and Siemens.
Fully functional Microsoft Office
5+ years’ experience with automated systems within a manufacturing environment
A criminal records check will be required for this position.
