What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a Front End Web Developer with Drupal experience for a contract position (1 year). The primary role will be leading the redevelopment of our intranet.

The Brick intranet supports a variety of key business functions for storing and sharing information. Each major business department has a specific set of requirements that need to be discovered and constructed.

Working with different business leaders, your role will be to gather requirements, design the new intranet format and construct the site itself. You’ll work as part of The Brick’s E-Commerce team alongside a dynamic group of developers and designers.

About You:
You need to be a self-starter and self-driven individual. The Brick is a fast-paced environment and this role will require someone who can effectively organize their time and hit development milestones.

This project also requires project management experience and strong communication skills. There are a variety of stakeholders to work with to understand requirements and share ideas.

Responsibilities Include:
Collecting business requirements from various departments
Meeting routinely with business leaders to present progress and gather feedback
Designing, building and publishing to the intranet site
Collaborating with design and development peers
Effective time management and attention to detail is critical

Required Skills:
5+ years combined experience (School and/or workplace)
In depth knowledge of Drupal, HTML, CSS and Jquery/Javascript
Experience with PHP, Adobe Photoshop, Shopify Liquid and Ruby are an asset
Ability to understand, interpret and act on feedback from a variety of stakeholders
