Through a consultative approach, you solve their business challenges by strategically positioning Cisco solutions that drive their business outcomes, reduce their complexity and risk and manage their costs.
The Cisco Sales Specialist will be responsible for the overall Region go-to-market strategy and plan for one of Cisco's leading product portfolios:
You will responsible for coordinating and executing the Cisco product sales strategy in your territory, growing our customer base through competitive tactics while expanding Cisco solutions into our base of existing accounts.
Working closely with Marketing, Sales and our SA organization, you will identify and position Cisco solutions based on observed marketplace demands and trends and participate in focused marketing campaigns and programs to generate incremental revenue.
You will develop implement the Softchoice go-to-market plans for the strategic initiatives for your product portfolio, working closely with the sales organization. Your strong product knowledge will enable you to position the Cisco portfolio, supporting sales teams to present Cisco solutions with clear value propositions for our clients, in conjunction with the SA.
Successful execution will also require strong management of the local Cisco partnership. Through your consultative selling skills and experience, and engaging the correct Softchoice and Cisco resources, the Cisco Sales Specialist is the catalyst to ensure the right solution is positioned with the winning value proposition.
As our Cisco Sales Specialist, you will:
Drive a robust pipeline of Cisco Sales Opportunities
Provide Pre-Sales Support to Sales Reps & Customers on Cisco Products & Solutions
Identify new Enterprise Agreement Prospects
Collaborate with sales to develop Cisco business plans for assigned accounts and develop and foster opportunities to improve sales performance.
Deliver Cisco product roadmap and solutions content to customers
Participate in local customer events to deliver Softchoice content
Develop & Deliver training to Softchoice sales teams on Cisco products
Engage with local Softchoice sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer accounts
Forecast, track and analyze the bookings/pipeline of business in your territory.
As our Cisco Sales Specialist, you’ll have:
Excellent customer-facing presentation skills
Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis
The ability and experience in training and mentoring others
Ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level
Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business objectives
The desire to be competitive and refuse to lose!
You possess the demonstrated ability to build transformational customer relationships at all levels.
You know how to accurately forecast sales activity
As our ideal candidate you’ll also have:
A deep understanding of Cisco products and services
3-5 years of sales experience (with Cisco products)
Strong analytical skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Extraordinary presentation, communication and influence skills (written and verbal)
