Our Corporate Headquarters located in Richmond Hill, Ontario is looking for an Experiential Marketing Intern beginning in January 2020 and ending in December 2020. As a key member of the Experiential Marketing team, the Experiential Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the Experiential Marketing Specialists in event conceptualization, planning, executing, liaising with agencies, evaluation/measurement, and budget management of national event programs. Events could include consumer drive programs, VIP events, product launches, retailer events, auto shows, sponsorship activities and various other programs. You will also assist with the Experiential Marketing Fleet and invoice payments. The Experiential Marketing Intern will gain sufficient knowledge through their experience on the team to ultimately be responsible for their own program towards the completion of the internship.
Support the Experiential Marketing team with various day-to-day tasks, including CRM, creation of lead generation tools and media
Administration and program management including assistance with budget management and financial tracking
Liaise with external stakeholders such as agencies, vendors, as well as, internal cross-functional teams
Manage marketing fleet needs - transporting, detailing, invoice payment etc.
Represent the brand at various events, interacting with customers and Brand Ambassadors
Assist the Experiential Marketing Specialists in planning the event calendar
Maintain on-going communication with Project Managers and National Manager with current event information and results
Compile event closedown reports, analytics, lead monitoring, measurement, presentation slides, and strategic recommendations to management
Other general duties as required that contribute to the effectiveness of the BMW Brand Management department

Qualifications and Experience
University or College degree, preferably in Marketing or Event Marketing
Prior event marketing experience, ideally one year minimum
Demonstrated innovative and creative thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for customer satisfaction
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated team player with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
A professional attitude and understanding of corporate environment with an eagerness to learn
Intermediate level of Microsoft office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
You must have a valid full-class (G in Ontario) driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and be willing to work flexible hours, including evening hours and weekends
Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States
Bilingual English/French is an asset
Well-developed knowledge of the automotive industry is preferred
