RoadSafetyBC is the lead provincial agency for road safety and is responsible for setting strategic direction and establishing a provincial approach to road safety throughout British Columbia. RoadSafetyBC regulates drivers and operates a number of programs to help regulate the safe and responsible operation of motor vehicles in B.C.
In this position you will oversee and provide direction to the administrative support team at RoadSafetyBC. You will also provide support to program management and staff and coordinate office administration functions, human resources, payroll, records management, facilities and asset management.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experience providing clerical/administrative support services for a group of staff.
Minimum of 1 year experience supervising administrative staff including the assignment of work and approval of leave.
Experience managing sensitive issues with tact, diplomacy and sound judgment by telephone and in person.
Experience working in confidential capacity.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
2 or more years experience supervising administrative staff, including the assignment of work and approval of leave.
Records management experience, preferably with ARCS/ORCS.
Experience with document management systems such as eApprovals, Cliff or equivalent.
