Who is Priority?
Priority is a locally owned and operated premium appliance service company that began in 2003. Priority’s goal was a team driven desire to fill a significant skill gap that existed in Vancouver’s high-end appliance service market. We are a Team of Professionals, striving for excellence in everything we do! We are looking for a like-minded person to join our team as a Parts Department Manager effective immediately. As a result of growth, creating and systematizing our Parts Dept has now become a serious venture and will require a visionary person to help us reach new levels of organization in our customer service centric business. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 8AM – 4PM.

Responsibilities Include:
Order fulfillment
Handling of incoming and outgoing inventory parts
Coordinate the supply, storage, and flow of all repair parts inventory
Develop procedures to ensure inventory accuracy
Develop strategies for highest efficiency of inventory investment
Consult on our upcoming change of inventory control software
Develop and maintain great rapport with suppliers, technicians and customers
Represent company in a positive and professional manner
Data Entry in Excel and custom company software
Reading technical drawings to identify parts
Train field service technicians in proper parts handling procedures
Train future members of parts department

Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory management required
Able to accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, and staff utilization.
Good command of English language required (both written & spoken) as to be able communicate effectively with our customers, technicians, dealers and manufacturers in technical terms.
Excellent and courteous telephone manner mandatory to represent our company in a professional and dignified manner.
Genuine customer service attitude
Developed computer and typing skills, advanced Excel and email management proficiency
Ability to process data entry, with high attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to work well with others as a partner and mentor
Self-starter, organized, information-seeking
Tireless and creative in the search for solutions to the challenges of high customer expectations
Able to lift up to but not exceed 50 lbs., carrying, pushing, and/or pulling inventory
Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to complete tasks according to instructions and demonstrate responsibility for outcomes
