Laborie Medical Technologies has an opportunity for a Calibration & Assembly Technician to join our talented Manufacturing & Production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Calibration & Assembly Technician plays a key role in the assembly and integration of systems. Responsibilities include testing, calibration of equipment, inspection, troubleshooting, as well as other activities within the production process. In addition to having sound knowledge of PC assemblies, this individual follows PC software and QC instruction manuals for UDS equipment.
The ideal candidate is experienced with electromechanical assembly, and possesses sound knowledge of computer hardware and software. With a collaborative attitude, the candidate works well with others in a team environment.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Position parts and subassemblies by using templates, fixtures or reading measurements.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, form, and function; fastening parts and subassemblies.
Calibrate modular devices and ensure communication via Bluetooth with other devices. Troubleshoot and ensure functionality of a complete Urodynamics system through utilizing proprietary software as intended.
Identifies potential assembly problems when components may not meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Document actions by completing production work orders and quality forms.
Contributes to team effort and environment by accomplishing related results as needed.
Technical and/or Computer Science Academics preferred.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with pose.
Ability to adhere to outlined policies and procedures.
Ability to react to and embrace change.
Ability to work Overtime if/when required.
