Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring front line staff are focused on the Customer Experience
Responsible for ensuring customer feasibility policies are followed. Review and approve feasibility results and AFE’s for accuracy prior to submission for Capital approval
Provide direct leadership, mentoring and coaching to ensure regional staff is engaged and motivated
Responsible for project management utilizing asset management and project management applications working directly with the Planning group.
Lead regular project management review meetings with Planning and Connections field staff
Attend bi-weekly workload meetings with Construction to review work plan and ensure stakeholder agreed dates are met
Responsible for continuous financial forecasting and variance investigation
Establish and maintain positive working relations with external stakeholders such as developers, builders HVAC contractors
Establish and maintain positive working relations with internal stakeholders such as Construction Supervisors, Planning Supervisor, Network Analysis Supervisor, and Planners
Attend site meetings as needed to confirm project status, resolve customer related issues to assist with identification of specialized permits or construction issues.
Handle customer/municipality/contractor complaints and concerns and resolve in an appropriate and timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring that the Company’s assets are constructed in the most cost effective manner. This includes promoting Joint Trench opportunities with developers and builders
Responsible to work with Major Projects on customer related Leave to Construct
Responsible to work with Business Development on customer related special projects
Identify and implement process improvements within the Connections process
Responsible for project management and financial forecasting of regional delivery to plan
Provide leadership to Field Reps, Coordinators and Clerks in a unionized environment.
Ensure customer satisfaction
Develop collaborative relationships

Qualifications:
Required:
Proven leadership skills and team management skills.
Several years’ experience in Operations and/or customer related areas.
Thorough working knowledge of various company policies and practices including Customer Connections, PDR, Construction, NetOps and other related codes, laws and regulations
Strong working knowledge of various customer connection related systems, SAP, Maximo, CAPF, AFE, IDF, Riva
Labour relations skill and knowledge of the collective agreement
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP)
