Reporting to the Finance Director, the Associate Finance Manager position is located in the Victoria HCP finance office. The finance department is responsible for various infrastructure projects managed within a Public Private Partnership (P3) environment. The position will support to the finance function in the effective delivery of the obligations and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with contractual documentation and all agreed programs and procedures;

Develop strong working relationships with the project partners, public sector clients, funders, advisors and HCP colleagues in relation to the management of all financial matters;

Assist with preparation and presentation of annual budgets and quarterly finance reports;

Develop and ensure compliance with financial controls;

Oversee the project financial records, ledgers and production of monthly reports;

Ensure reconciliations are produced as required and reviewed monthly;

Prepare unaudited interim accounts as required;

Prepare annual audited financial statements in accordance with the relevant accounting standard;

Prepare audit working papers and assist in the annual audit process;

Provide administrative support to the Finance Director in the discharge of the Company Secretarial obligations;

Manage tax return preparation;

Assist with the semi-annual debt cycles, ensuring compliance with covenants, ratios and other requirements of the Senior Financing documents;

Attend Board of Director meetings;

Assist with management of Treasury, including administering bank accounts, maximizing interest and managing cash flow;

Update financial models and analyze/propose investor distributions amounts;

Assist with managing requirements of the project insurance program;

In the absence of the Finance Director provide the senior finance lead for the projects;

Supervise junior accounting staff as required;

Participate in the development of the finance function, team and systems; and

Other duties as required
