Description

The role of the senior finance manager is to act as the regional CFO for Canada, a $100M+ (CAD) revenue generator for the company. This includes sitting on the Canadian Leadership team and providing finance support to business partners in Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, Quality, Regulatory, and Service. The role also holds responsibility for the long-range plan, annual operating plan, and monthly operating review cycles inclusive of reporting and forecasting. Further job responsibilities will be:

Provide direct decision support and business partnership to Canada General Manager

Lead a team of two highly capable Senior Financial Analysts

Provide decision support to functional areas for monthly and quarterly reporting and projections that include trends and key drivers, continuous improvement in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting efficiency

Variance explanation and investigation of monthly activity (Plan, Forecast, and Year over Year comparisons)

Analysis on return on investment discussions for program/promotional spend, and active participation in project prioritization

Support Sales Enablement in contract and deal profitability analysis

Act as a liaison for accounting transactions and ensure closing requirements are effectively completed in accordance with US GAAP

Preparation of adhoc analyses and dashboard metrics, including presentations as requested, for senior leadership

Provide process management, consolidation and decision support analysis to key customers and leadership in annual planning process and other key Hillrom deliverables

Develop and document standard methods, processes and templates that leverage Hillrom’s planning systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree

Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP

7+ years’ experience focused in finance, financial planning & analysis, and reporting

Experience working with Microsoft Office and Cognos/Hyperion products

Knowledge of JD Edwards, SAP, or similar ERP systems preferred
