WildBrain Studios’ Vancouver animation division is embarking on the implementation of a new talent management system and requires an HRIS Analyst/Team Lead for a key role in the deployment and ongoing maintenance of the new platform. Functionality in the initial scope includes recruiting, onboarding, performance management, career planning, succession planning, learning, and integrations to the UKGPro HRIS.
The HRIS Analyst/Team Lead will be the subject matter expert for the operations and enhancement of the talent system for the Vancouver Studio.

During the initial implementation, participate in all project phases to learn, configure and test all aspects of the new system; develop a broad understanding of system dependencies and integrations to become the system subject matter expert for the Vancouver Studio
Once the system is in production, lead the end-to-end administration and enhancements for the talent system and related integrations
Collaborate with business owners across the Talent Management team to understand requirements and configure the system appropriately
Work with the business owners to establish processes that efficiently leverage the system capabilities
Lead a small team (1-2 people) to execute system changes, maintain operations and develop reports
Review vendor release notes and work with business owners to determine which changes will be enabled; coordinate the testing and deployment of enhancements
Act as lead system administrator to maintain system integrity
Maintain system documentation to support knowledge transfer and business continuity
Maintain the help desk function for the Talent System; ensure timely response to user issues and inquiries
Conduct periodic data and process audits and recommend corrective actions or improvements
Ensure the system security model (role security) is maintained
Collaborate with the Global/Corporate HRIS team in ensuring data integrity and integrations required to support time management and payroll functions in UKGPro are maintained
A degree or certificate in information technology, computer sciences, or human resources
5 years of HRIS/HR system experience with a major HR application
Strong business and technical understanding of HR systems
Ability to translate business objectives and user needs into requirements and lead the implementation of requirements into systems
Knowledge of the system development lifecycle process and the ability to manage implementation of system enhancements (design, configure, test, deploy)
Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make proposals, provide root cause analysis and demonstrate results
Personal integrity and maturity including the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Experience with UKGPro and/or Talentsoft is an asset
