Working within our Human Resources team with a focus on recruitment, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with assigned client groups, establishing and fulfilling recruitment requests, as well as be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent. This is a one-year contract position.


Works closely with the Human Resources team and assigned client groups in order to establish and fulfill recruitment requests.
Actively sources talent using a variety of recruitment resources, managing and fulfilling open requisitions for hire.
Creates and maintains a pipeline of active talent in order to proactively anticipate and manage recruitment requests.
Prepares detailed job postings in line with job descriptions and liaises with clients to identify specific skills, experience and traits necessary for open positions.
Reviews and analyzes candidate resumes against required skills and qualifications to match talent to open requisitions.
Schedules and conducts candidate interviews as required.
Attends job fairs and actively promotes the firm as a top employer.
Engages with recruitment agencies when required to source top talent.
Administers skills assessments to candidates as required.
Conducts and documents reference checks and administers and tracks background check results.
Prepares recruitment reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
May be asked to back-up other HR team members during periods of high volume.
Other duties as assigned.


3 – 5 years’ experience leading full cycle recruitment processes.
College Diploma or University Degree in Human Resources Management.
Professional Human Resources designation or working towards (CHRP/CHRL), or relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
Understanding and knowledge of Human Resources Management policies, recruitment and selection best practices and employment legislation.
Ability to build effective relationships, gain industry knowledge, and provide pro-active and responsive solutions to business needs.
Understanding and demonstrated experience with applicant tracking systems such as ADP, LinkedIn Recruiter, job board platforms, digital marketing/social media platforms.
Possesses solid communication and presentation skills and is comfortable facilitating groups and coaching individuals.
Experience working closely with clients on sensitive issues and demonstrates discretion and ability to handle confidential and private information appropriately.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS an asset.
Bilingualism (French/English) may be required in some offices.
Must be able to commit to a one-year contract.
