The AIR MILES Reward Program Analytics & Insights practice is growing significantly and we are looking for a seasoned Associate Director, Analytics & Insights to join our team in Toronto. We are looking for a proven analytics leader with sound leadership skills, polished business & political acumen, expert CRM analytics knowledge and diplomatic client services skills. The Associate Director plays a critical client-facing role in translating the client’s business objectives into analytics agenda for the team to execute. The Associate Director, Analytics & Insights and the Client Lead, Client Services are the co-leaders with joint accountability in strategic planning, marketing strategy development and day-to-day delivery management for all clients in their assigned client portfolio.
What will you be doing?
Act as SME in customer/loyalty analytics, driving thought-leadership to solve complex business challenges for program partners
Co-lead the delivery & implementation of the annual account plan with client lead
Develop and oversee delivery of strategic analytics plan for partner portfolio
Enable the Client Services team to fulfill Profit & Loss metrics by guiding team to provide actionable data-driven customer insights
Oversee delivery of best-in-class descriptive, predictive & prescriptive analytics
Engage appropriate cross-functional resources to define & solve partner’s key business needs
Forge relationships with senior level leaders internally and within external partner’s businesses
Present analytics proposals, solutions & key insights/recommendations at strategic level
Attract, inspire & develop a team of talented analytics professionals across multiple geographies
Oversee associate training & development budget and execution of internal training activities
Coach team in day-to-day portfolio management, resource planning & negotiating priorities
Coach team to live out the Analytics & Insights team vision, values and culture
Ensure team is leveraging latest analytics tools & technologies to reduce speed to insight
Cross-share best-practices within internal LoyaltyOne analytics team
Contribute to business development activities as an analytics SME
What will you bring?
Experience delivering/managing campaign execution & measurement, customer segmentation/lifecycle, merchandising analytics and/or market research
Experience delivering analytics for retail industry; grocery specific considered an asset
Hands-on experience SQL, SAS, R, Python, Data bricks, tableau, Qlik, Power BI and/or equivalents preferred
A compelling storyteller that can drive better decision making through insights
Exceptional organizational, time management and project management skills with
Strong business/political acumen to work diplomatically with clients & internal stakeholders
Assertiveness, resilience & adaptability when working in ambiguous, challenging situations
Fluency in both English & French considered an asset
