Englobe Corp. is on an exciting growth path and we are currently seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our talented team in our Moncton/Saint John/Fredericton, New Brunswick location

Englobe, formerly Maritime Testing in NS, has recently acquired one of the top multi-discipline engineering firms in Atlantic Canada, Crandall Engineering Ltd. which has been in business since 1952, and we are looking to grow the structural engineering discipline for all Atlantic Canada from our Moncton Location. We now have 200 staff in Atlantic Canada and we are looking to grow.

As an Intermediate Structural Technician, you will be required to work collaboratively in a team environment with project Engineers, Architects and other consultants. You will be responsible for the preparation of structural engineering drawings, managing drafting budgets and deliverables on small/medium projects. The successful candidate will be required to :

Redesign drawings according to mark-ups, sketches and specifications provided

Communicate as needed with architects and other consultants to coordinate models and resolve issues

Perform computer aided design drafting and modelling duties in appropriate software

Communicate regularly with project managers for deliverables, expectations and coordination of items

Review drawings to ensure they conform to standards and design requirements


Member of NBCET, P.Tech designation;

A minimum of 5 years' experience in structural design for buildings or infrastructure (bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and related);

Design experience including knowledge of all relevant codes and regulatory requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to produce well-written reports and technical specifications;

Ability to work in a team environment
