Silver Hills, manufacturer and marketer of Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery, Little Northern Bakehouse, and One Degree Organic Foods is looking for a Production Systems Coordinator to join the team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Production Systems Coordinator to join our Operations team! Reporting to the Director of Operations, our Production Systems Coordinator will work with various teams to create, distribute, and manage production schedules for our busy food manufacturing plant.

In this role, you will be working with Plant Managers, Schedulers and the Operations team to champion the coordination of all things related to production! The main challenge in this role is to stay organized and thorough with your work as we operate in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment. However, this gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your teamwork skills and provide continuous improvement feedback. You will also have a chance to develop your leadership abilities and grow your career as we continue to expand.

You have the knowledge of raw materials handling, inventory control, production processes and quality control
You have strong data management and computer skills, including MS Office Suite
You have exceptional communication skills including verbal and written

You have some experience in production scheduling
You have a Degree or Diploma in Operations Management or related discipline

Relevant experience in a food manufacturing facility
Strong Excel skills
Things you will do…

Work closely with various departments to ensure production runs at maximum efficiency and complies with our high-quality standards
Monitor and report on inventory levels, KPI's for labor, yields, efficiency, quality, production safety, and downtime
Ensure inventory transfers are on-time and accurate and work with the production team on new item set up
Oversee finished goods inventory at D/C's and provide information to facilitate appropriate D/C transfers
Ensure material and packaging demands are accurate and up to date
Design, develop, document, and maintain production models to support both short range and long-range planning and analysis
Consolidate discrepancy or variances from each department within the plant
