The Assistant Deputy Minister position requires a high performance leader, results-oriented, and manager with experience working in government or public policy settings and familiar with government corporate, strategic and administrative processes such as policy making, financial management, and human resource management. An understanding of climate policy and sustainable development is an asset.

The Manitoba Government is looking for an outcomes-driven, collaborative and trusted leader to fill the Assistant Deputy Minister position for the Climate and Green Plan Implementation Office. The successful candidate will lead the Office to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the province’s Climate and Green Plan. Reporting to the Clerk of the Executive Council, you will be committed to strong corporate leadership and implementing effective fiscal practices that contribute to modernizing services to Manitobans. You will contribute to the department by ensuring effective development, implementation and management of legislation, regulations, policy, programs and enforcement functions, as well as the delivery of responsive programming related to often quickly emerging priorities.
