Position title: Assistant Manager Pie R Squared Pizza
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Outlet Manager
Supervises: Outlet employees
Employee status: Full-time, Permanent, hourly
Hours per week: 37.5, majority of shifts M-F, with occasional weekend

Position Purpose
The Outlet Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Outlet Manager with the operational and financial success of the operation. This role requires a self-motivated individual with very good leadership, sales and organizational skills to ensure timely and professional service to our guests. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, experienced assistant manager with proven superior customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Adhering to all AMS policies and procedures as well as other entity regulations such as Food Safe, Liquor laws etc.
Providing friendly, prompt, courteous, professional service to all guests
Assisting the Outlet Manager in exceeding sales goals through suggestive sales techniques
Demonstrating and applying above average product knowledge resulting in sales increases
Assist the Outlet Manager to manage human resources responsibilities including, but not limited to scheduling, training, briefing and developing employees.
Supporting the outlet team as necessary ensuring all AMS standards and procedures
Maintaining and utilizing all computer hard- & software according to AMS guidelines
Assist the Outlet Manager to maintain daily, weekly and monthly records of cash reconciliation, revenue summaries, costing, month-end journal entries, and payroll functions such as, timesheet verification and submission
Actively promoting AMS events
Coordinating with the Outlet Manager and ensuring at all times that all outlet menus, POS, sales material and staff knowledge are up to date
Working with the AMS mission statement and values to operate a successful department
Daytime operation with occasional weekends shift
Other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
Supervisory or assistant management experience in food service
Minimum Food Safe level 1 certification or higher
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 12 kgs (26.4lbs
Intermediate computer skills an asset
Language: Required to speak, read and write English
Strong interpersonal skills
Leadership qualities an advantage
Experience working with youth an asset
Squirrel POS experience an asset
Training given to enhance leadership qualities
