An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk.

Responsibilities and Duties:

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

  • Entering invoices into our ERP System
  • Completing cheque runs, bi-weekly and misc. cheques
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding outstanding payments
  • Filing invoices

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

  • Daily processing of invoices
  • Contacting customers regarding outstanding balances
  • Processing customer payments
  • Complete credit checks

PAYROLL

  • Preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll
  • Respond to employee concerns regarding payroll issues
  • Source deduction remittances
  • Month-end payroll journal entries

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1 - 3 years of accounting experience
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and oral
  • Data entry skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when entering data
  • Capable working with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented, accurate and organized
  • Self-motivated, and a desire to achieve personal/team goals
  • Proficient in computer software specifically Excel and Outlook
  • ERP experience an asset
