As the Director of Product delivery, your primary function is to enable cross-functional teams to have the scaled structure, governance and support to be effective. You will be a self-motivated leader with proven ability communicating effectively at all levels and leading multiple teams to deliver under tight deadlines. We are seeking an expert at initiating and leading enterprise level programs to successfully deliver products in an agile environment. This leader is a visionary who is able to create roadmaps, overhaul design, recreate, and deliver projects based on partner and business needs. A leader who can liaison with stakeholders at different levels, engaging in finding efficiencies through creation of solutions for businesses internally and keeping business priorities inline against the budget.

This position is responsible for leading a team of agile product delivery managers who are responsible for release planning, Agile Coaching, and the execution of training and activation activities for all products within the digital portfolio. The Director of Product Delivery is responsible for optimizing the Agile toolkit (e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc), measuring the performance of our delivery practices (e.g. backlog health, team velocity, team engagement) and is responsible for facilitating changes to workflows and the SDLC to maximize effectiveness.

The Director will be responsible for handling partner and business expectations and making sure their delivery teams are in synergy. They will be the single point of executing and managing the delivery of product solution for all projects, in collaboration with the business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Supports the AVP of Technology in a leadership capacity with planning, budgeting and staffing allocation for the Delivery Program
Collaborates closely with key stakeholders in business, marketing and product development to establish and implement the organizations product engineering delivery strategy
Responsible for maintaining and reporting on the Loyalty Platform strategic roadmap, implementation, and release plan of key products in a fast paced, agile environment.
Responsible for the launch and continuous improvement of new and existing product features and services, leading to the successful implementation across different verticals, as well as several 'in progress' projects.
Drives the cultural adoption of scaled agile principles and values to implement a creative, strong business and technical vision.
Primary focus is on driving strategic product delivery, including removing impediments that impact productivity or block the teams progress.
Develops and monitors metrics to determine the success criteria for delivery.
Leads retrospectives to uncover what’s working, what’s not and how we can improve.
Directs the operations of the assigned functional area to achieve strategic and operational business goals and targeted financial and content quality results.
Partners with other delivery leads, engineering, and product managers to identify and manage cross-team dependencies.
Work closely with product delivery team(s) and product owners to ensure agreed upon backlog items are prioritized, developed and released.
Represents the Technology delivery progress in executive-level forums.
Promotes continuous improvement and protects culture of innovation.
Provides execution and delivery leadership to the product teams to deliver high-quality products in committed timeframes.
Communicates highly complex information in a simple manor to non-technical stakeholders.
Interacts with direct reports and peers in management / customers / vendors to interpret information and improve cross-functional programs. Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of agile/lean engineering practices, and development practices.
Proven track record of establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
Ability to identify operational issues, recommend and execute strategies to resolve problems.
Ability to understand highly technical challenges and translate them to non-technical audiences

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in a technical leadership role, such as software development, release management, deployment engineering, technical operations or similar OR a High School diploma and at least 11 years of experience in a technical leadership role, such as software development, release management, deployment engineering, site operations, technical operations or similar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Agile methodologies
At least 3 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work

CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:
Agile Certifications (CSPO, CSP, CSD, or similar.)
