The Maintenance Coordinator is accountable to ensure that the fleet maintenance requirements are accurately identified, recorded and prioritized within the maintenance system to meet maintenance safety, operational and Driver needs. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the inventory of the parts department. This position requires daily interaction with vendors. The coordinator is also expected to be a team player in the maintenance department and able to communicate effectively with mechanics, drivers, and Bison's customers.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
Repair work order entry: Providing accurate, clear, timely information.
Inventory: Responsible for maintaining the parts inventory
Driver & customer relations: Involves obtaining accurate and detailed information from the driver/customer in reference to the problems that he/she may be having with the equipment
Administration and Reporting: Involves collection and interpretation of data.
Planning & Scheduling.

Knowledge of maintenance systems and process
Knowledge of parts administration
Strong organizational skills and record keeping ability
Strong attention to detail
Ability to learn and navigate computer, software and programs
Problem solving ability; recognize, assess, report and provide solutions
Strong interpersonal, communication & customer service skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to work with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work in a shop/maintenance environment (dust, noise levels, temperature changes, dirt...)

The position is subject to a modified shift continental schedule, 06:00 - 18:00.
