Job summary
Scotiabank is looking for candidates at the Manager Level who will play a key role in supporting International Banking & Digital Strategy on transformational projects. The International Banking & Digital Strategy team is part of the larger Scotiabank Strategy Group, a vibrant community of practice and talent incubator of strategy practitioners from all business units and corporate functions of the Bank. Together we act as trusted advisors to senior executives and support the delivery of key strategic initiatives.
Successful candidates will be responsible for building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the bank (including Digital leaders and Country teams), providing advisory services, compelling strategic recommendations and driving their execution to contribute to the overall success of the bank.

Job Responsibilities

Work with divisional and in-country teams by providing customized strategy development and advisory support to create compelling strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders through research, analysis, and issue and opportunity identification
Perform complex analysis, articulate recommendations and prepare flawless presentations for stakeholders
Provide strategic support to the leaders in all areas of the bank to help them create meaningful experiences and build the bank of tomorrow
Conduct key market, customer, and competitive assessments according to project needs
Support team and stakeholders with preparation of presentation materials to communicate strategy across the bank, align priorities, and drive cultural change
Contribute and motivate the team through internal initiatives that encourage team development
Job Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Engineering; MBA or finance-related postgraduate degree is an advantage
Experience in management consulting or corporate strategy, execution and project management experience preferred
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen and attention to detail
Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment
Ability to navigate and thrive within complex stakeholder environments
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability to work as an effective team player and partner; ability to motivate others, build trust with partners and colleagues, and work collaboratively across teams
Record of leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting
Desire to work in a hands-on team environment
Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Fluent in both Spanish and English
Availability to travel occasionally on short notice
