The Night Auditor is an integral part of the Front Office, responsible for handling the overnight Front Desk operations of the hotel. This would include assisting in all aspects of Guest Services, as well as completing end of day accounting and reconciliation tasks of the Food and Beverage, Spa, and Rooms divisions. The Night Auditor may be the first point of contact for guests whom are arriving after 11 PM, and as such must be capable of ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are achieved and that all standards set forth by Nita Lake Lodge are met and maintained at all times. The Night Auditor must be professional and upbeat at all times, and be able to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor while delivering outstanding service to our guests.


  • Audit daily guest ledger of the Hotel, Spa and Food & Beverage departments to balance and verify entries
  • Balance and audit for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier’s reports, and guest and house accounts and telephone revenue; assisting the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues
  • Investigate and correct any discrepancies from daily activity
  • Transmit credit card batches
  • Conduct security rounds
  • Perform all Guest Service Agent functions as required
  • Prepare documents and keys required for registration
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Make, confirm, cancel and change reservations
  • Promptly and courteously attend to telephone calls and direct as appropriate
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Provide detailed information about points of interest in the area
  • Store and retrieve luggage
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Training of new team members

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 /hour
