DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing all correspondence for marketing initiatives
Working independently in an independent role, liaising with the off site corporate Marketing Team
Developing and maintaining a digital filing system
Coordinating the monthly calendar
Assisting in scheduling Social Media posts for the site
Assisting in creating the department promotions schedule, including marketing materials, posters for site display and team member communications
Ordering all sponsorship, donation in-kind or silent auction items for all community events
Coordinating logistics for all community sponsored events such as Street Teams and Golf Tournaments
Taking minutes at meetings; transcribing and distributing minutes as required
Providing administrative and creative support to the site team, as well as corporate marketing team where required
Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders
Performing other duties as assigned or directed

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1-2 years of marketing assistant experience supporting and working alongside a management team
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Public Relations, Advertising or Business Administration
Computer literacy, including experience with Photoshop, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks
Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of responsibility and display good judgement, accuracy and discretion;
The ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication;
A willingness to learn, develop, and achieve new skills for personal and professional development.
The ability to obtain a Serving It Right Certificate;
The ability to obtain & maintain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch;
A reliable mode of transportation available for varying event hours and locations.
