We are currently seeking candidates for the roles of Laboratory Technologist for our growing operation.

The main responsibilities in this role include:
Preparing reagents and solutions, cleaning and sterilizing glassware

Completion of quality records and documents

Assists chemists with reporting requirements, prepares reports as required

Ensures laboratory equipment is maintained in good, clean condition and all quality
documentation has been completed

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment, equipment calibrations and
completion of related equipment quality records

Monitors inventory of laboratory supplies and assists chemists with inventory control

Other lab related duties as required and reasonably directed by Lab Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrates initiative and carries out periodic tasks independently

Experience with implementing and maintaining industry-standard quality systems including ISO
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and relevant quality practices

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Maintains an orderly, tidy and organized working environment always

Following of proper methods and procedures

Organizes and prioritizes oneself and plans based on daily assigned laboratory schedules

Have completed a two or three-year institute or college program or equivalent, with courses in
scientific principles

Detailed knowledge of laboratory methods and equipment

Knowledge in word processing software, specifically Microsoft Office

Ability to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this knowledge to solve technical


Time management skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, tight deadline environment
