Temporary Full-Time (12 to 15 months)
The Brant County Health Unit is looking to hire a temporary full-time receptionist that will fit in with our fast-paced environment and be willing to greet our clients in a professional and courteous manner.

About the position: We are seeking a temporary full-time receptionist/customer service specialist who is focused on delivering a world class customer service experience to our valued clients and members of our community. Great customer support is a vital part of our business! As a member of our team you will be responsible for greeting all our clients when they arrive, answering calls and redirecting to appropriate departments where necessary, responding promptly to client inquiries. Our collaborative approach to our service delivery ensures a helpful, positive environment for all and maintains the high standard of customer service excellence for all our clients and community.

The Receptionist provides administrative support by performing a variety of assigned duties.
Receiving and directing telephone calls
Receiving and directing visitors and clients
Typing, filing, data entry and report generation.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Required minimum education level is completion of secondary school diploma or equivalent
Six months to one year in an administrative setting
Experience working in a clinical environment is considered an asset
Must have a courteous, friendly, and self-starting attitude
Proven ability to work independently under minimal supervision in a customer service environment
Experience with computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
Demonstrates effective handling of personal contacts with management, other staff, with members of other organizations, clients and with the public
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills are also necessary
Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with ONA Allied Collective Agreement.
Salary range is in accordance with the Support II Clerk/Secretary band: $18.40 to $22.20 per hour (70 hours in a two-week period). This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 12 to 15 months, or a lesser period as required.
